Greetings,
We have started a non-profit with the mission of bringing high quality
news and information from around the web to the public, and are aiming
to hire a consultant with knowledge and ability in evaluating vendor
proposals based on open source CMSs. We want to see if what were
looking for matches with what you do - or if you could refer us to
someone who might be a good fit.
This is a link to a mockup of the front page of the site -

We are looking for someone with skill and knowledge in open source
CMSs (whether CMS frameworks or specific CMSs), preferably a number of
them. We are going to have about six proposals in all based on
several different CMSs and need someone to help us evaluate them.
There are a number of features we are incorporating for editors and
readers of the site, and the task of choosing the best match for our
needs will be fairly technical.
Its likely we can narrow the field to four on our own. Weve already
received some and are expecting to receive the rest by the end of this
week, or early next week.
If you are interested, please let us know what level of expertise
(expert, advanced, interm., intro) and type of experience you have
with different CMSs. For example, you could let us know you are
advanced in a system, and worked with it over eight months helping a
company implement a web site that was somewhat complex. Or that you
are intro level in a system by way of helping an organization evaluate
it. Level of expertise/background with various languages, servers,
oss and databases would be great.
Please include any other information you wish to provide, such as what
you would charge, and a link to your web site.
As far as a reference, please feel free to pass this note on to other
people, or to email me relevant contact information using either the
reply to address or dsreceivecms.20.pd at neverbox.com.
Thanks,
Peter Dunn

p.s. if you feel you would make a good vendor/developer for this
project, its possible we could also receive a proposal from you (and
extend our deadline), though it would need to be submitted fairly
quickly. Feel free to email us your information and a link to your
site, and if we think youre a good match, well send you the RFP and
related info.
