CMS-PR -- Press Releases from Content Management Vendors

About CMS-PR on skyline3
English (USA)

There are many press outlets (including CMS news websites) that publish press releases from Content Management System
vendors and open-source developer communities. They selectively include only some PR, and often edit what they publish, which is fine of course.

This mailing list is a place for CMS vendors and open-source developer communities to submit their press releases so any subscriber can read them "as is."

Posts to this list will be sent automatically to CM magazines and top CMS news sites that welcome press releases.

Many CMS listers have requested a mailing list where commercial messages of all kinds are welcome - products and services news, special offers, personnel announcements, etc., and this is it.

We are assembling a list of the best addresses we know of to send PR about content management, and we will invite them all to join this list (the CM magazines, the top CMS news sites, whoever welcomes press announcements).

So CMS-PR messages posted here will reach a large audience.

We hope you will join this new mailing list.

For more information, go to the CMS Forum on Marketing CMS, where we hope to assemble the list of places to send CMS press releases.

We hope to use some advanced email-to-forum and forum-to-email tools to archive this unmoderated thread.

We also offer companion CMS lists:
[CMS] - a general mailing list for content management systems.
[CMS-Meta] - for discussions on how this list should operate.
[CMS-Forum] - for announcements of activity at cms-forum.org.
[CMS-Develop] - to assist those building their own CMS.
[CMS-OT] - off-topic conversations of tangential interest to those in the CMS industry.
[CMS-Admin] - for list moms and advisers.
